Why so many girls in Yahoo feel the need to validate their self-esteem through their looks?
Every time I come here is another girl asking random strangers 'type' them. Why? Is this the message society is sending to girls? That self-esteem is based on their appearance? I think an unfortunate tendency to tell the girls to focus on the outside and make them feel better inside. Is not that backward thinking?
Yeah you go girl! I totally agree with you. This is very cheap and desperate to do and if they are trying to show off even worse. I do not want some pervert lurid Internet looking at pictures of me. I do not need random people to tell me that I'm pretty or ugly or whatever. The girls do not need that kind of criticism and judging, which are not models to be picked and tried. At least I know I am not and I will not degrade me like that. I like my look and I need to hear the views of foreigners to feel good with myself, and should not these people who post their photos. Also how can one know that the labels that people give are totally honest? I am glad brought this and I am glad that there are actually girls here in the sense and self-worth, as yourself.
