
Why "Toning" can spell disaster for the results of fitness!
I must be honest … first thing I do when someone tells me they "just want to tone up" is slap my palm to my forehead and groan. Not because I'm frustrated with that person … quite the contrary!
The reason is the popular myth of all insidious but can only "Get Ringtone" in the first place!
It's a myth that is in all aspects of popular fitness and it is time to end it once and for all before he robs another unfortunate person of their results.
If you do not, I'm frustrated the person who asked me about getting tones, "but I'm frustrated with a fitness industry and popular media that leads to people believe they can make changes in your body without any real meaningful work and without building any honest-to-goodness, fully-functioning, metabolism, increase muscle!
To be blunt, and to put it another way, triceps kickbacks with a soup not stop waving the arms of the wind.
You see, I am frustrated because this is a myth that keeps people doing useless training that gets them nowhere. And then give up and may write off all fitness and training as useless to them.
This is something I can not bear to see because desperately want you to succeed in changing your body and be more healthy (that's why I'm in the business I'm in it). But ineffective training information can stop right in its tracks.
Now if you reading this article, and your goal is thinner, "" Please keep reading because I will drop everything to go right now …
1. You can not "tone" muscle. You can build muscle. You can lose muscle mass. Or the muscle can stay the same.
2. You can not "tone" of fat. You can fat gain. You can lose fat. But you can not "tone".
The look that most people would describe as "tone" is always the result of muscle building (or maintain the muscle you have!) and lose fat … PERIOD. If you have no muscle mass, you can lose fat, but it will be a smaller version of what they are now.
The problem arises when a person uses exercises and programs that bend to the will not create a single gram muscle for fear of "getting big bulky muscles." In doing so, basically pull over, if not all, of the most effective things that can do for fat loss!
Unfortunately, what about achieving a goal of "toning" is nothing at all.
And please believe me, I'm not saying this to be mean or discourage anyone from exercising. I say this because you deserve to know the truth …
Toning is a myth.
If you want the results, just the challenge of training exercises and programs for fat loss. It's not glamorous, but it works!
And before going any further, I need to put another myth to rest really quickly … the touch of a dumbell or bar is not enough to build big muscles and you make "bulk up", especially if you are female.
I can only wish it were that easy! To really build the amount of muscle needed to "bulky" look, you need to train specifically for muscle growth and eat plenty of food. It's hard work and definitely not is so easy and many people fear!
However, if kept away from the difficult years of weight training, you will not get lost fat best possible results.
You do not need to do bicep curls with a jar of pickles. You need to sit and work the big muscles of your body that boost your metabolism to burn fat 24 hours a day.
There is no need to lie on the floor and do five hundred sit-ups for stomach tighten. You have to do interval training cardio to burn fat to show those abs!
Conclusion: If you are serious about wanting results of the effort you put, but an exercise or program is not a challenge that is not going to get there.
If you do NOT want results, and prefers to spin the wheels, no problem! Just grab a magazine at the grocery store and make the ultimate toning program that "all the celebrities are wearing!"
Like I mentioned earlier, it takes more than touching a dumbell to get big muscles … but a little hard work go a long way toward building the body you want!
