Broken aluminum baseball bat … help!?
Ok asique's the deal … I have an original pair of Nike Aero adult baseball bat (32/29) that I have to say is the biggest club I have ever used and do not wish to get a different bat so please no answers like that. I bought the bat from a friend and if not had a guarantee of 400 days as most of the bats, then it is much more than the 400 days. In practice today I hit a ball and bat formed about 9 inches long fair crack of the bat by the barrel. I'll be in touch with Nike about what they can do, but does anyone else have an opinion on what to say, what to do, any suggestions, etc? I'm not really trying to get a new bat … the only thing that could take into account is the aerodynamic torque, or possibly a stealth. Tpx catalyst that I'm using at the moment but I would like this resolved as soon as possible because it is half of the season. Thank you. 10 points best answer would be … answers only please
I had a DeMarini vexxum that erupted in the middle of a game on the same way. As you, I contacted the company, but can do nothing if it is out of warranty, most of them can give you a discount. The best bet is just to get a bat again, but look for a cheaper price, like on eBay or Craigslist.
