Does the United States show the pluralistic, & class elite, or the theory hyperpluralism?
I can not seem to make my mind about this. What do you think?
Our political system is a constantly evolving one. My opinion is that the American political system rises and down with each of these states. Our Founding Fathers were elitist, like it or not (only white men could vote, the leaders were wealthy landowners). Our society has become plural in the early 20th century with the emergence of trade unions and political leaders who use the government to limit the power of monopolies and the robber barons. Since the 1994 election midterm, we have become hyperpluralistic, where there are many stakeholders pulling our political leaders that nothing can be done. We will see this change back into our lives. Change is slow, but it inevitably happens.
