Gold Panning, Prospecting and playing in the creek
It took me 32 years to find one of the best hobbies I've done! Gold deposits can be one of the cleanest things you can do! The first time I was done panning around three months. Me and my father decided to go to Dahlonega, Ga. to our experience of exploration first. It took nearly three hours to travel from Alabama and we were shocked!
Atlanta has been extended until the end in Dahlonega and had houses on each block. We drove around a few minutes and finally found the lake empty. It was a great idea, people have probably never been in a few areas in many years! The levels were super low and immediately felt the importance of water.
We parked in the doc and walked along the side of the lake and found a nice outcropping of Quart. We pecked some time ago in hopes of finding a gold band. We ended up walking a mile in the lake and turned around and decided to leave. We drove east of Dahlonega and found a stream it flows very nice.
As soon as I entered the stream I saw that there were many different types of rocks and minerals in the water. I sunk into the pot and pulled him up and let the water wash the sand finish. That is when I saw this beautiful yellow in the bottom of the pan. I shouted "I found gold!" My dad comes over and he laughed and said it was fool's gold. It was everywhere and if you tried to break it crumble apart. We found no gold, but we did have a fun day and I saw a very impressive river for a short period of time!
If you did not know about gold here There is little information to begin.
First, is a very heavy brass. It has a specific gravity of 19.3 which means a quart of gold weighing 19.3 times more than a quart of water. As a comparison, lead has a specific gravity of about 11 for gold is almost twice as heavy as lead.

The gold is as free metal and in tellurides. It is widely distributed and almost always associated with pyrite or quartz. gold veins can be found in alluvial deposits. If you find an fourth vein peck around on it and be sure and look great! People have found gold Quart rocks all through.
I have read that if you find sand black is a great place to look for gold! Another place to look is around a large rock or a log man! This is where you can find a nugget of good that has been hidden for years!
