The Andy Griffith Show (Season 3) DVD Review

One of the most celebrated series in television history, The Andy Griffith Show evokes a time more single in the U.S. history, an era dominated by Sandlot baseball, church on Sunday, and apple pie. It is against this backdrop that The Andy Griffith Show is located in the small Carolina town of Mayberry. The main character is Sheriff Andy Griffith who lives his Aunt Bee and Opie's young son. Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife adds great comic, while many others throughout the city, business owners neighbors add more life to the stories …

The Andy Griffith Show (Season 3) DVD offers a series of amusing episodes including the season premiere "Mr. McBeevee" in which Opie befriends telephone technician named Mr. McBeevee he described to Andy and Barney as a man who lives in trees, jingles, when walking, and has twelve extra hands! Since I have never meet Mr. McBeevee, Andy and Barney believe Opie that friend is make believe – at least until Opie comes home with a room that says Mr. McBeevee gave! Now, Andy must investigate or punish another risk to your child for the theft of the quarter … Other notable episodes from Season 3 include "Barney mends a Broken Heart" in which Barney complicated love life by fixing Andy it with a new girl, when Andy's date, Peggy, cancels it, and "Barney and the Governor" in which Barney is given a personal recommendation of the Governor for their excellent performance, but appears drunk when Otis spikes the water cooler …
