Running Shoe Need Advice Please …?
I'm starting to come into operation much more and need a good shoe. I've been running in my Nike Shox and feet are really hurting on the outside of my foot. I am 5ft. 9 "and 170 lbs. I think I have half of the high arch. My girlfriend loves the Mizuno Wave Riders, and I was thinking in the Mens Mizuno Wave Rider 12 Mizuno Wave creation or 10. I read that the building is a bit more rigid and do not know if this would give as cushion much. Please give me your opinion and thoughts. I know you "should" go to the store and try, but actually live in the suburbs and just bought something online.
A. Nike Shox running are horrible! Out of these as soon as possible! B. Each foot is different and every shoe fits every foot differently. I really should try them before buying. All shoe brands run different in size. If you do not have a specialty running store near you go to a shop Dick's Sporting (often available in each neighborhood). Ask questions about the shoes they are receiving support in the arch, ie? buffer? (employee Store in general must have some knowledge). C. I have raced in almost every brand of footwear. I used to be a big fan of Nike, but now I love Asics. The Asics 2140 have changed my life! But remember its all about what suits shoes you and your lifestyle running.
