African Gray Parrot â € "Einstein talking up a storm

African gray parrots are very intelligent. It has been said that have a similar understanding that of dolphins and chimpanzees. African gray parrots have the ability to emulate up to 2,000 different sounds. One can understand the use of many words they learn, and we know that better parrots talk.

Einstein, a talking African gray test, this is live. Einstein has been talking about a storm in a zoo, Knoxville Tennessee. Coach Einstein, Stephanie White, says it's natural that African gray parrots to enjoy imitating sounds. Einstein, however, seems exceptionally good at imitating. White believes Einstein can make over 200 different sounds, many of which are English words.

"If you hear a sound like it, they start to repeat again and again. Then we will at the right time, "says White.

Einstein is male or female?

African gray parrots of both sexes have the same aspect, so nobody knows if Einstein is a man or woman. Veterinarians at the zoo could say with a blood test, but the zoo has decided not to. Einstein lives happily with the name of a scientist, big man, and a female pronoun.

Einstein â € "Bio A Talking African Gray

Einstein, talking African gray parrot, born in California in 1987. He lives in a zoo in the beginning. He lived with a couple from California. Not for sale, Congo African Gray was donated to the zoo from 1992 to 5 years of age.

When Einstein arrived at the Knoxville Zoo, who went from unknown to star African gray parrot your state. Einstein was an immediate success in the new zoo for birds shows. Visitors enjoyed the spectacle, with the free flight, the natural behavior about 14 birds and some other animals. However, the African Gray quickly became the star.

Einstein does not stop at the zoo every day. Nor are limited to your vocabulary words and sounds of their trainers want them to learn. One day, the African gray riding in a car on the way to a school program-and-tell. Of suddenly began singing "Happy Birthday" to his coaches surprised. No one knew when and how he learned the song, but she knew it.

Einstein not only is the star of Knoxville Zoo's Bird Show. She is also a popular "spokesbird" to the zoo and tourism Knoxville.

Although Einstein is about 22 years old as I write this (early 2007), which never behave or understand how a human of 22 years of age. African gray parrots have the intellectual capacity of a 5 years old. Emotionally, it's more like a 2-year age-old human. Those living with African gray parrots are constantly reminded of this.

African Gray â € "the right pet for you?

Einstein, the talking African Gray is incredible. You should be aware, however, that not all African grays are like Einstein. The Knoxville Zoo has one African gray parrot named Allie. Allie has learned only a handful of words. Perhaps they are shy to speak because Einstein is so good. Perhaps there is not just motivated.

Certainly many African gray parrots learning to speak. Privately owned, 10 year old African Gray in Texas â € "also called Einstein – is credited with knowing 122 words, 94 sentences, and 21 sounds.

If you buy an African gray parrot, with patience and work with it will probably be able to teach to talk.
